Improving Knowledge Exchange for international biodiversity policy
CASCADE is a collaborative consortium of UK higher education institutions & their partners sharing evidence to influence international biodiversity policy.
The Conservation And Sustainability Consortium of AcaDEmic institutions (CASCADE) brings together higher education institutions from across the UK working on finding sustainable and socially just solutions to one of the biggest challenges facing humanity: the biodiversity crisis.
We believe that only through sharing resources and knowledge and acting in partnership with other research institutions across the world, government agencies, NGOs and industry, will we be able to work towards addressing this challenge.

Researcher
CASCADE is a network of researchers who believe in collaborating across institutions to improve our ability to contribute to international biodiversity policy.
If you are in the UK and your institution is a member, contact your focal point to get involved. If not, contact us to get your institution started.
If you're in an institution outside the UK we are keen to see how we can collaborate.
A key element of CASCADE is better integration between knowledge exchange professionals and academic researchers in Higher Education Institutions and between KE professionals working in the international biodiversity space in different HEI institutions.
We are keen to hear from policy-makers in government, business and civil society on how the CASCADE network can help you, through providing evidence to support decision-making and building capacity in the international biodiversity policy space.
One key objective of CASCADE is to help students to learn about international biodiversity policy through getting involved in our programme. If you're interested to get involved, contact your Institution's focal point to see what's going on,and subscribe to our newsletter to find out about opportunities.
